The Philippines' Special Committee for the Protection of Children has just released an updated version of 'Guide for Media Practitioners on the Reporting and Coverage of Cases Involving Children', which was first launched in 2000.
Intended to raise media awareness on issues concerning the rights of the child, the guide also seeks to reinforce journalistic standards, through self-regulation, and contribute to the protection and promotion of these rights. Download the guideline's PDF version here. Focus
