Key Priorities

Asia Media Forum has three distinct and interconnecting priorities:

Communications, Exchange and Coordination
The sharing issues and stories with members of the Asia Media Forum, media in Asia and around the world, and the public through a range of reports, newsletters and an Asia Media Forum website.

Education and Support of Journalists
Capacity building and encouragement of journalists and editors through influencing journalism syllabus, lectures, and fellowships and journalist exchange programmes within the region

Advocacy
A range of advocacy activities (including reports, opinion pieces and issued statements) on the Asian media with a specific focus on development, democracy, human rights, and media freedom.
